TRNG-120 Unidrive SP
This class on the UnidriveSP AC Drive and Servo Control reviews all of the capabilities this solution platform has to offer, as well as the basics of operating, start-up and diagnostics. Upon completion of the class, you will be able to recognize unique applications for the Unidrive SP, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on labs cover keypad and SmartCard operation, parameter configuration and tuning for open loop, closed loop and servo modes. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as become familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. TRNG-122 Commander SK/SyPTLite
This is a fast paced class on the Commander SK Open Loop AC Drive and use of the SyPT Lite software tool. Upon completion the class, you will be able to recognize unique applications for the Commander SK, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on labs cover Keypad, LogicStick and SmartStick operation, parameter configuration and tuning for open loop vector mode. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as becoming familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. Exercises using advanced parameters and SyPTLite programming software are included in this course.
Students not wishing to attend the SyPTLite programming portion are free to leave after Day 2.

TRNG-123 Unidrive M600-700/Machine Control Studio* Basic

This course is designed to cover the selection, installation and commissioning of our Unidrive M 600, and M 700 series AC drives.
The class is suitable for anyone who requires an understanding of the application and commissioning of these drives. This class will also introduce the use of our Machine Control Studio (Powered by CoDeSys) programming software for on board applications.
Requirements for attendance are intermediate PC skills and Electrical/Electronic knowledge

TRNG-125 Commander SK FAST
The Commander SK FAST! Training class has been designed specifically for Control Techniques Distributor/Support Partners. The class is intended for those who currently have experience with Control Techniques drives. This class covers the rudiments as well as some of the more in depth topics that are encountered when applying the Commander SK and handling customer calls. Emphasis is placed on using various resources for quick access to Commander SK information as required by a person designated to provide “first line” Technical Support for the Commander SK family line. The class is rather fast paced and incorporates a number of follow-up quizzes on the major topic areas to serve as verification of sufficient subject mastery to substantiate Certification.

TRNG-127 Mentor MP / Quantum MP
This class features our new Mentor and Quantum MP Digital DC Drive family with concentration on the basics of operating, start-up, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as becoming familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. Upon completion of the class, you will be able to recognize applications, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on exercises are used throughout the course to review configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Additional labs cover keypad variants, parameter backup and restoration techniques using both CTSoft and the SmartCard plus tuning procedures for both Tach and Encoder feedback types as well as the internal autotuning facilities. Resulting performance will be observed using CTScope – our 4 Channel Color SoftScope.
Mentor/Quantum MP drives can execute PLC Ladder programs of your creation to achieve those miscellaneous functions outside what the base drive can do. Requirements for attending this class are successful completion of TRNG-123, Intermediate PC skills, Motion Control experience
